I take pictures with the intention of looking both internally and externally to tell my story.  To me a camera is a pen and subject matter is the ink that can be used to write a story about the world and your own life.  Because the camera is held up to the eye the picture gives a window into the mind of the Photographer.  This allows the viewer to vicariously see the world through their eyes.  No matter what I shoot I want the viewer to get a sense of who I am even if they don’t know me personally.  If a person can look at the work of a Photographer they’ve never met and feel like they got to know them from the pictures that is a sign of great work.  No matter what genre of Photography, what subject matter, or how I capture it that is always the goal of my work.
